FW: employee card : attendance system

Dear All,

In order to facilitate employees in marking their attendance, employee cards have been made and provided to all. The employee card system will replace the manual system of entering time-in into register. The employee card will come into effect from 1st Feb, 08.

In order to avoid any confusion or issue regarding attendance, management has defined a set of procedures and rules.

  1. Employees are required to enter their time-in and time-out daily into the system through the employee cards.
  1. Employees' salary calculations depend largely on the attendance report generated; hence, employees themselves are responsible for ensuring that their time-in and time-out has been correctly entered into the system.
  1. Employees must enter their time-in and time-out themselves and not ask others to do so.
  1. Any employee who has arrived late to work must still enter his/her time-in. If (s)he fails to do so, he/she will be marked absent.
  1.  An employee will be considered an absent after 12 PM.
  1. Charges for replacement cards may vary from Rs.200 – Rs.500
