Microfinance Institution Improves Business Efficiency in partnership with Maison Consulting (PASHA–News):19. February,2014
Akhuwat successfully implemented an ERP solution in partnership with Maison Consulting. The solution chosen was Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 after evaluating other available ERP Solutions.
The deployment of Microsoft Dynamics AX has resulted in Akhuwat benefitting from an integrated, adaptable business management solution that helps the organization and its employees make business decisions with greater confidence. It helps in easier and timely accessibility of information and faster response time.

Maison Consulting partnered with Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation, a nonprofit company to form The Children’s Heart Hospital and Research Institute Pakistan – a limited foundation under section 32 of the company’s ordinance on 17th July, 2012. The foundation is an independent entity and has so far successfully operated 26 children’s heart surgeries spending around Rs. 7 million.A group of like-minded individuals have come together and have started this not for profit project. Those involved include certain dedicated businessmen, philanthropists and a group of physicians who are intimately involved with pediatric cardiac care and are currently providing the majority of public sector pediatric cardiology, pediatric cardiac surgery and pediatric anesthesia services in Pakistan.Approximately 5 million children are born each year in Pakistan. Congenital heart defects (CHD) account for the largest portion of treatable inherited birth defects. The incidence of CHD is about 8 per 1000 live births and this indicates that about 40,000 children per year need pediatric cardiac care. The vast majority of congenital cardiac lesions are treatable with a single surgery and currently these surgeries and associated post-operative care cannot be provided to the vast majority of patients because of the absence of appropriate facilities and sufficient number of trained personnel.By focusing on this CSR activity, Maison aims to:
- Create awareness about children heart diseases amongst general public
- Support poor families conduct heart surgeries
- Build a children heart hospital to support the needy
Maison follows a simple strategy whereby its willing employees are donating a certain portion of their time and their offices are also being used as CHHRI offices to gather donations from all parts of the world to spend them on child heart surgeries of poor and needy families.
